Child with tailored assistance needs being helped by carer

Understanding Eligibility for Participation

Imagine ID invites families across the UK and internationally to participate in our transformative research. If your child or young person is aged between 4 and 26 and has been diagnosed with a genetic condition, they may be eligible to contribute to a pioneering study that aims to understand the impact of genetic variations on neurodevelopment and behaviour.

The Benefits of Participation

By joining the IMAGINE 2 study, your family will receive personalised annual reports detailing your child’s strengths and challenges. These insights are invaluable for tailoring care and support to meet your child’s unique needs. Additionally, your participation helps advance the scientific community’s understanding of rare genetic conditions, potentially enhancing care for future generations.

What Participation Involves

Participation in the study typically involves completing online questionnaires about your child’s medical history, development, and behaviour. Some families may also be invited to engage in further assessments or interviews, either online or in person. These activities are designed to gather comprehensive data to inform ongoing and future research efforts.
